Here are some things to include in your first message:

• Tell me a little more about what you'd like to get the ball rolling.  Include as much detail as you like!
• What are the best way/s and times to contact you?  
• What's your budget?  This doesn't have to be a firm figure.  Having an idea of budget can make sure we are both working towards the same outcome. 
• Do you have a timeframe you want or need your project completed? 

Note, custom commissions require a number of conversations, design drawings and details to be worked out before they can begin.  Your spot in the build queue is set upon payment of a 50% deposit.
